Doet dit je ook niet denken aan Japanse printkunst? Ik zie dit in ieder geval helemaal voor me op een kamerscherm of stoffen wandpaneel. Hoe briljant, dat toen ik deze plant opzocht (chocolade cosmos, naar het bruinrode blad), ik ontdekte dat er een Japanse mangaserie is genaamd Chocolate Cosmos waarvan de plot doet denken aan de serie Twilight. Restraining order gedrag onder het mom van tienerliefde min de vampiers. Maar ik zal het vast te kort doen, want de wereld van manga is mij totaal onbekend.

Cosmos atrosanguineus
Doesn’t this also remind you of Japanese print art? I can certainly picture this on a room divider or fabric wall panel. How brilliant that when I looked up this plant (Chocolate Cosmos, named after the reddish-brown leaves), I discovered there is a Japanese manga series called Chocolate Cosmos whose plot is reminiscent of the Twilight series. Restraining order behaviour under the guise of teenage love minus the vampires. But I’m probably doing it a disservice, because the world of manga is completely unknown to me.
