Epiphyllum anguliger is onderdeel van mijn Botaniska serie waarin ik het Zweedse zomerlicht en de bijzondere plantvormen van de botanische tuinen van Goteborg en Stockholm heb vastgelegd. De schilderwerken op canvasboard houden het midden tussen schets en detail. Het gezamenlijke resultaat is een collectie momentopnames van planten, tuinhoekjes en bloemen in noordelijk zomerlicht.

Background
Epiphyllum anguliger is part of my Botaniska series, in which I capture the Swedish summer light and the unique plant forms of the botanical gardens of Gothenburg and Stockholm. These canvas board paintings are a cross between sketch and detail. The combined result is a collection of snapshots of plants, garden nooks, and flowers bathed in northern summer light.
